Message One way of improving response is with a standalone unit.

Nixit hit the nail on the head with what he wrote below.

"How will high boost applications react to the MAF and how will the HOT air from a turbo application effect MAF readings? Recall that a hotwire MAF is based on how much voltage is lost across a hot wire, as the air cools it. If the incoming air is cold, then the MAF will be more accurate in determiningg how much air the engine is consuming. If it's hot air... then how will that effect a hotwire MAF?"
